Hubby at the home improvement store, a hurricane is coming, his name is Lester and we are in preparation mode.  The sky is a pretty shade of blue, birds are singing and the thermometer on my clock says it's 77 degrees.

Always wanting to be prepared for the worst and pray for the best, he has devised a system of attaching plywood over the windows--screws not nails.  The last time we did this, was two years ago and he thought of it then but didn't have the time to carry it out.

Last night, when we went to get the plywood (in the dark) at Home Depot, my help was needed.  As we were loading the truck, several young men approached me and said, "Aunty, you need help?"  I said thank you so much and they finished loading.  Saw Dad/uncle/grandpa and thanked him as well.  I think he sent them to bless us.  What a wonderful example of blessing!  I asked them where they went to school and they said Anuenue and I said, where's that?  And they said Palolo.  me:yay Ahe Street!  They gave me hugs and went on their way.

GRATEFUL!  It's good to be old, what's the alternative?

Found this YouTube by MayMay today and am enjoying her style of Faith journaling every week.

Delighting in the Faithfulness of our God.  Today's Daily Bread was exceptional as well "How to Carve a Duck"

To Be Blessed to Blessed every day, you need a Daily Dose of God's presence and direction.

p.s. I thought this post had disappeared into the Black Hole of Blogs, hence I wrote another one.  Will call the new on #6b as I edit.  Man...
